Swing Time! at Centro Asturiano
1920's SPEAKEASY w/ The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn

Swing Time's 1920's Speakeasy featured a Charleston/Swing dance lesson,
a 1920's best-costume contest, a Charleston dance contest (congrats to J,
who took first prize of $50 cash), and lots of great live music & dancing!
A huge crowd, including many old friends and new faces, came to dance and
to hear the incredible swinging rhythms of The Blue Vipers of Brooklyn!
The Vipers delivered a highly danceable mix of classics and original tunes.
We were very fortunate to get this band, en route to their Saturday appearance at
WMNF's Tropical Heatwave, and we look forward to a return appearance
should they travel this way again. Enjoy the photos! --Sam
