DAY OF SWING
Saturday August 1st

Saturday, August 1st, is a huge Day of Swing at the Dance Factory in Tampa.  During the day, we'll have classes in virtually every style of swing dancing imaginable, followed by a special dance that night.  Every class will introduce you to a popular style of swing dancing and will get you dancing that dance, covering as many essential moves and techniques as possible in a one-hour class.  All ages are welcome and no partner is needed.  Classes start at 1pm and finish at 8pm, followed by social dancing 8-11pm where all styles of swing dancing will be on exhibition!  Here's the schedule:

 1:00-2:00 Intro to Swing Dancing
 2:00-3:00 Lindy Hop
 3:15-4:15 Charleston
 4:30-5:30 Shim Sham
 5:45-6:45 Collegiate Shag
 7:00-8:00 Balboa
 8:00-11pm Dance

Purchase tickets and class passes at the door, cash or card.  Just $15 admission gets you into any one class plus the dance; it's $25 for two classes + the dance; $33 for 3 classes + dance; $40 for 4; or take all six classes and enjoy admission to the dance too for just $50.  Admission to the dance only is $12.  Classes will be led by Sam, Andrea, Kyle, Renny, and special guests to be announced!

The Dance Factory is a beautiful and spacious event venue with great atmosphere, located at 203 Westshore Plaza, Tampa, FL 33609.  Park and enter next to Maggiano's; once inside take your first right and walk to the end to find The Dance Factory.
